Across the Seven Seas

That's where my Saahil is off to, tonight, to pariticipate in the international competition, on behalf of his college. I mentioned his tour only once, when I had announced that he's part of this team that won the competition at the national level. I couldn't write about it, after that, till now, as I couldn't write about something I wasn't looking forward to. True, I am very proud of him and we are currently residing in different cities in India itself...but this is something different altogether, he's going farther away from me physically...and that thought weighs down on me heavily...

May all luck in the world be with him...may he do well in the competition. More than that hope he enjoys his trip to the fullest, as this is his first international trip. He would be away for ten days...hope he comes back soon, hope these 10 days roll by in fast motion...
